The Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee (SYOGOC) invites all online, print, photographic and broadcast media to cover the world's first Youth Olympic Games (YOG), to be held in Singapore from 14 to 26 August 2010. Media accreditation opens on 1 February 2010 and closes on 1 May 2010. All media accreditation applications will be subject to the approval of the International Olympic Committee and SYOGOC. Accredited media will have access to the Main Media Centre, the 18 competition venues, Youth Olympic Village, and Culture and Education Programme activities. While approved media accreditation does not serve as a visa for entry into Singapore, assistance will be rendered to media for visa applications upon request.
